Identification of the Service
The Service supplied is a browser-based MMOG (massive multiplayers online game), a collectible cards game set in the world of sailing.
All accepted contracts will be governed by Italian law and specifically what is stated about consumers in the Consumers Code (Legislative Decree No. 206 of 2005).
Limits of Liability
Net Games Tech, as supplier of the service and data controller in terms of the Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree No. 196 Privacy Policy only keeps the information supplied by the user for the period of time strictly necessary to perform the requested service. The User exempts Net Games Tech from all and any responsibility resulting from the violation of the law protecting copyright or from any possible content that might defame and/or offend and/or infringe rights, including the right of a third party to privacy, taking full and complete responsibility for the information the User inserts into and is processed by SkipperMania, even when third-party tools available on the website are involved. The User is not authorised to modify, duplicate, distribute, transmit, execute, reproduce, publish, concede in licence, transfer, sell or create material related to any information, picture, software, product or service acquired through the SkipperMania site. Net Games Tech can update the Terms and Conditions whenever the need should arise.
Net Games Tech reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel any part of the Service at any time and it can limit the use of certain functions of the Service without prior notice but making these functions available on the site.
Unlawful, forbidden and not allowed used
The User may not use the Services of the Site for any unlawful or prohibited use or for any use that is not in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
The User is not authorised to use the Service in any way that may damage, block or prejudice in any form the functioning of the SkipperMania server or networks connected to it.
The User may not attempt to use the Service, other accounts, computers or networks connected to SkipperMania in any unauthorised way, including through illegal access, counterfeiting passwords or other illicit means.
If the User behaves in any of above-mentioned unauthorised way, Net Games Tech has the right to ban him from all SkipperMania services. The banned user can't ask for the repayment of what it has already been paid to access to SkipperMania's services.
Means and duration of use for the Service
After registering, the User shall be able to use the account as indicated in the Terms and Conditions section.
For charge accounts as the Plus account, the User must pay for the service according to the terms more fully described in the Prices section.
Net Games Tech takes no responsibility for delays or failures to provide services due to unforeseen events or technical problems that are not the direct responsibility of its servers.
Security of the Service
Net Games Tech, as supplier of the service and data controller, as is explained in more detail in the Privacy Policy, uses advanced technologies and conforms with the security measures envisaged in the Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree No. 196 of 2003).
Net Games Tech provides the Service using the servers and Internet connectivity of Virtual Sport, which in turn makes use of ARUBA SPA as owner of the server farm.

Account and Password
The Service can only be accessed after the User has created an account. To do this, the User must complete a registration form by providing all the requested information, which is to be accurate and up-to-date. The User must also choose a password and a user name. It is the User's responsibility to ensure the safekeeping of his/her password and his/her account. Net Games Tech cannot be held responsible for any loss of data or information due to the use of the password or the account by a third party. Under no circumstances may the User use the account of another person without the legitimate authorisation of that account holder.
The registration of an account represents the tender of a contract between the User and Net Games Tech according to the terms described in this document and the Privacy Policy.
The registration can be done in Italian or in English by completing the relevant registration form and the subsequent submission of this data to the Service. The Service will send an email to the User to verify the existence of the email address used for registration and to verify the email address is held by the person who submitted the registration form. This email contains an Internet address that belongs to the Service and is to be used to confirm the registration. Once the confirmation has been duly received, the account, to all intents and purposes, will be considered active and the contract agreed.
The information notices relating to the contract are recorded on the Service and are accessible to the User via the account management page that is available to the User once connected to the service.
At any time either during or following the registration, the User can change his/her personal data and the terms of use of personal data by using the registration form or the account management page.
All communication with the User shall be in the language chosen during registration or the one selected from the account management page.
Court of Jurisdiction
The court of competent jurisdiction shall be the Milan court. In the case of the User being a consumer in terms of the Consumers' Code (Legislative Decree No. 206 of 2005), the court of competent jurisdiction shall be the court of the place in which the consumer is resident or domiciled, provided this is within Italy.
Privacy
Pursuant to article 13 of the Privacy Code, Net Games Tech, supplier of the SkipperMania service, data controller of personal data, with registered offices in Milan at 3 Via Ippocrate (20161), hereby informs the User that the data supplied with the registration form for the service will be used to meet the request submitted. Further information is available in the Privacy Policy of this website.
Withdrawal from the Service
Should the User not be satisfied with the Service, he/she can withdraw from the contract by cancelling his/her account (menu Help, Contact Us, Cancel My Account). The user can't ask for the repayment of what it has been paid until that moment to purchase cards, Credits, to become a Plus player or to use any of SkipperMania and Net Games Tech services.
Prices
The access to the Service is free, however the User is required to pay to purchase collection cards or Credits or to become a Plus User. In those cases the User has to use one of forms of payment supported by the Service. A full list of the items on sale and their price is available in the Shop, accessible by the registered Users.
Pursuant to Italian Law (Presidential Decree No. 633 of 26 October 1972) all prices include VAT.
